# Social Math

When I tell people that I study and write about Social Mathematics, the first question that I get from them is, “what is Social Mathematics?”   What I tell them is before I can explain to them what Social Mathematics is, I have to explain to them the great concept of Social Math.  So what is social math?  Social math is the unique relationships of interactions that all that exist and all that is believed to exist share.  These interactions can be direct or indirect, immediate or delayed, also planned or random.  It is stimuli, the actions to those stimuli, the reactions to those actions, and those reactions that will become stimuli.  This pattern of actions will repeat itself continually and infinitely through nature naturally.  Unlimited pattern of actions will simultaneously cross over, combine, and conceal each other out as they react with each other.  Starting with stimulus (pl. stimuli) in “physiology” is a detectable change in the internal or external environment. The ability of an organism or organ to respond to external stimuli is called sensitivity.  When a stimulus is applied to a sensory receptor, it elicits or influences a reflex via stimulus transduction. A stimulus is often the first component of a homeostatic control system. When a sensory neuron and a motor neuron communicate with each other, it is called a nerve stimulus.  In “psychology”, stimuli are energy patterns which are registered by the senses. In behaviorism and related stimulus–response theories, stimuli constitute the basis for behavior, whereas in perceptual psychology they constitute the basis for perception.  This can cause a reflex action, also known as a reflex, which is an involuntary and nearly instantaneous movement in response to a stimulus.  This action will cause a form of reaction, which in turn will become the stimulus to the next action.  This in nature will go on over and over again which will start to form a patterns of actions, a flows of motion, or a chain of events.

Social mathematics is a way to take those actions, and represent it an equation using variables and symbols. If you really want to learn more about writing equations go to www.doingsocialmath.com this is a site done by Ann Costelly, and when it comes to the doing equations she does know what she is talking about. (This site is now being managed by Thomas Catur).  The way I think about it, you can write any thing down, but doing it is a different story.  Social math have been around for a ever long time and the idea behind social mathematics as been around just as long.  People have been doing it for a very long time.  It is in every part of our lives, every part of what we do, and ever part of what happens around us. We just don’t realize it. If you would like to learn more about the history of social math and the development of social mathematics then you can go to www.whatissocialmath.com/blog this site is  a blog  by Dwane Reed, and he is good at what he does. You can learn alot from him.  (This site is now being managed by Chinna Liddell).  Now what I do, is talk about how you can use the concepts in social mathematics to help better your life.  This is by first knowing how we are just a factor in a equation, and how we can affect the outcomes in your life, if we choose to do so.  Social math is a simple way to make data easier to grasp by relating it to things that we already understand. It’s a tool that combines the emotional impact of stories with the power of data. It’s a way of presenting numbers in a real-life, familiar context that helps people see the story behind them.

Another way that social mathematics is being used is to make data easier to grasp by relating it to things that we already understand.  This is done by creating  meaning about something that is unfamiliar to you by relating it with something that you are familiar with.  This method is said to be good when it comes to a person who is trying to figure out the relevance and meaning to any new information.  As in the same way, the type of social mathematics that I write about is the method of using past actions to help us understand present and future behavior patterns.  The most important thing to remember when doing social mathematics is that just because you are not dealing with numbers, you still have to stay as accurate as possible.

There is also the theory of everything (TOE) which is a putative theory of theoretical physics that fully explains and links together all known physical phenomena, and predicts the outcome of any experiment that could be carried out in principle. The theory of everything is also called the final theory. Many candidate theories of everything have been proposed by theoretical physicists during the twentieth century, but none have been confirmed experimentally. The primary problem in producing a TOE is that general relativity and quantum mechanics are hard to unify. This is one of the unsolved problems in physics.
